Treatment of ghosts and spirits is done in this miraculous temple of Rajasthan! Devotees coming for the first time get scared

Although, different miraculous temples are very popular in Rajasthan. But there are some such Siddha temples in which devotees coming for the first time get scared. Also, if a devotee is possessed by ghosts, then it goes away just by coming to the temple.

Today we are talking about the Mehandipur Balaji Temple located in Dausa district of Rajasthan. This place of Mehandipur Balaji, about 100 km from Jaipur, is counted among the 10 major Siddhapeeths of Lord Hanuman. This years old temple has attained a lot of Siddhi.

Devotees believe that Hanumanji resides in the awakened state at this place. It has been observed here that the people who are possessed by ghosts and evil spirits start screaming as soon as they enter the temple of Pretraj Sarkar and Kotwal Captain and then those evil spirits come out of the body of the victims.

It is said that if any devotee who comes here is possessed by a ghost or spirit, then it goes away. No one knows how this miracle happens. But people have been coming here from far and wide for centuries to get rid of ghosts and evil spirits.

This is the mythological story here (Mehandipur Balaji Story in Hindi)

It is believed that thousands of Ganas of Balaji Maharaj i.e. the restless souls are getting satisfied with the fragrance of the daily offerings of Balaji. That is why people troubled by the shadow of ghosts and spirits come here and go away after getting cured.

The story associated with the temple is that three deities predominate here – Shri Balaji Maharaj, Shri Pretraj Sarkar and Shri Kotwal (Bhairav). These three deities appeared here about 1000 years ago. Since their appearance, twelve Mahants have served and worshipped at this place and till now two Mahants of this place are still present.

In the beginning, there used to be a dense forest in Mehandipur Dham and wild animals lived here. Due to being deserted, there was also a fear of thieves and robbers here. In such a situation, the reach of the common man was far away from this place.

According to the mythological story, the ancestors of the oldest Mahant of a temple here had a dream and got up in the dream and reached a very strange place. They saw that thousands of lamps were lit from one side and a very large army was coming with the sound of elephants and horses.

That army did three Pradakshinas of the idol of Balaji Maharaj and bowed to him. After that, they went back the same way from which they had come. Maharaj was watching all this leela with great surprise. He got scared after seeing all this and went back to his village. After going home, he thought a lot about this leela, and as soon as he closed his eyes, he had another dream.

This time in the dream, he saw three idols, a temple and huge splendor and a voice came in his ears – Get up, take the responsibility of serving me. I will expand my leela. Who was saying this, no one was visible. Maharaj did not pay attention to this even once, then Hanuman ji Maharaj himself appeared before him this time and ordered him to worship.

The next day Maharaj told everything to the people around. As soon as the excavation was done as told in the dream, the idol came out from there. Some people established a small temple there and also arranged for the offerings. Due to this, miracles started happening there. Some deceitful and evil people considered it to be a sham. The idol/vigraha of Balaji Maharaj disappeared again from the same place from where it was taken out. Due to this, all the people accepted the power and apologized. After the people apologized, the idols started appearing.
The secret is that a thin stream of water keeps flowing from below the chest on the left side of Maharaj, which does not stop even after applying enough chola. The devotees splash that water and it is considered to be the blessing of Balaji.

The king did not believe it, then Balaji became invisible (Mehandipur Balaji Temple History in Hindi)

There was a king’s kingdom in Mehandipur, Baba informed the king about the whole incident. The king also thought that this was some magic and refused to believe it. Due to this, the idols became invisible again and went into the ground. The king got that place excavated but the idols were not found. After this, the king considered it a miracle and apologized to Baba and called himself an ignorant fool. After this, the idols appeared again.
The king ordered Maharaj to take charge of the worship. After this, the king built a huge temple of Balaji Maharaj. Mahant Gosai Ji Maharaj served Balaji till old age. Later, he took Samadhi with the permission of Balaji and in his last moments, he prayed to Balaji that only his descendants should serve and worship him. Since the establishment of the temple, Maharaj’s family has been serving here. In the last 1000 years, 11 Mahants have served here.
